The Walk for Water is a 28k trek across Singapore, from Singapore American School to Sentosa, in efforts to raise money for Tabitha Foundation, a charity which works to provide wells to villages in rural Cambodia. The event was founded in 2013 by SAS students Sabrina Sain, Bryanna Entwistle, and Sophie Wirt, who were in 6th grade at the time. The first year, it was just the three girls walking. They managed to raise around $3000. Over the years, the walk has continued to grow. It has expanded to over 200 students, has raised over $100,000, and built 300+ wells across empoverished providences Cambodia.
