Exam stress is back, whether you have APs or are just trying to pass that math test, everyone is stressed out. Luckily, SPAR (Students for the Protection of Animal Rights) has a solution for you. For only $2 for 5 minutes, you can hang out and play with puppies in the Makerspace to de-stress. The annual puppy cafe has returned!

The SPAR puppy cafe is an annual 2nd semester fundraising event which raises awareness about shelter dogs. All proceeds from this event will be given to the CAS (Causes for Animals) animal shelter here in Singapore. This event not only helps students unwind, but also benefits the puppies as well.
The puppies will be able to interact with people, some who could be possible future owners. All dogs in this event are adoptable from the CAS animal shelter. The puppy cafe helps students to be more aware of animal shelters and to destress and play with the pups during the stressful exam weeks.

Last year’s puppy cafe was very popular, and both the dogs and the students had lots of fun. This year’s puppy cafe will take place on Thursday, May 19, which is a B day, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Makerspace. Along with that, SPAR will be holding a bake sale on Wednesday, May 18, where they will be selling some goodies and advertising the puppy cafe.
So if you are stressed out for exams, or just love dogs, save the date for the puppy cafe.
